travel with your NPC community

Experience Spain alongside families you already know while building new friendships along the way. Kids have built-in buddies, parents have a ready-made community, and shared experiences create connections that continue long after everyone comes home.

We loved jumping into Spanish life -- from taking public transit to daily  café con leech stops. Travec gave us guidance and room to explore, helping us step outside our comfort zones. But the best part? Traveling with other families and having built in travel buddies.

where we stay

Families will stay in comfortable apartment-style accommodations in the Extramurs area near the Turia Gardens, a residential part of Valencia that gives you easy access to the city while still feeling like a neighborhood rather than a tourist zone. It’s a great home base for families, with local cafés, bakeries, shops, public transportation, and plenty of everyday life right outside your door. The nearby Turia Gardens also give families easy access to one of Valencia’s best green spaces for walking, biking, and letting kids burn off some energy.

Each apartment includes air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and 2–3 bedrooms depending on your family size. While families may stay in different buildings, everyone will be situated in the same neighborhood—close enough to stay connected while still having your own space to settle in and feel at home.

Accommodations are requested based on order of registration.

the people who make it personal

One of the biggest differences between a Travec trip and planning on your own is the people you have with you along the way. Your Trip Leader and City Host are there to help the week feel seamless, connected, and personal—from handling the little logistics to introducing you to the people, places, and everyday moments that make Valencia feel like more than a destination.

They’re your local guides, trusted resources, cultural connectors, and familiar faces throughout the week. By the end of the trip, they often feel less like “trip staff” and more like part of the experience itself.
